How
do We Arrive at These Results?
- This state-wide score tracker is based from the competition's scores,
not ordinals.
- All events are included, multiple competitions will be listed on the
same weekend.
- If a team does not compete that weekend, their last score is included
and their icon is grayed.
- If two teams are tied, one team performed that weekend, one team performed
the weekend previous, the team that performed will be placed above. If
two teams tied and DID perform, the order will be alphabetical.
- Whether scores are higher or lower than any given team's last competition,
the most recent score is used.
How
are Teams Put into Divisions for the Score Tracker?
CATEGORY DIVISIONS: All teams are put into one division per category,
regardless of size.
TRADITIONAL DIVISIONS: All teams are put into their State division.
What
are Some of the Statistic Variables?
- Two
shows used on the same weekend, means two different sets of judges who
did not directly compare all teams listed.
- Contest Dynamics - few teams tend to inflate scores, many teams tend
to push higher teams higher & lower teams lower.
- A team not performing, but still in the Tracker, means they were not
directly competitive with other teams and very possibly would have different
results.
